The Germans from AC Schnitzer have taken the new MINI Cooper Coupe ‘beyond the standard’ through a series of upgrades that are not just limited to its appearance.
So apart from a new set of alloys (17 or 18 inch Mi1 or Mi2 designs), a number of stickers and decals Aluminium pedals and velour floor mats, the Ac Schnitzer MINI Coupe has received mechanical upgrades such as a limited slip diff with a 0 to 75 percent locking rate as well as a sports exhaust system featuring a sound pipe, a crossover pipe and a rear silencer with chromed tips.
The AC Schnitzer MINI Coupe has also received a set of high performance brakes for the front axle comprising of 4-piston callipers, 328×28 mm slotted brake discs plus a height adjustable race suspension with new springs, an aluminium strut brace on the front axle and a special sway bar at the rear.
Engine upgrades are also on their way as AC Schnitzer said that it is currently tuning the MINI Cooper SD Coupe while an upgrade for the
MINI Cooper S Coupe is in the planning stage.
