The well known BMW tuners from AC Schnitzer are presenting their aftermarket program for the 1 Series M Coupe.
This program will debut at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show and it contain both visual upgrades and a power pack. Externally the BMW 1 Series M Coupe features a carbon fibre front spoiler, a chromed lower grille, a pair of bonnet vents, custom lightweight alloys (19 or 20 inch / Type VIII or Type V forged wheels) plus a boot lid lip and a rear roof spoiler.
The list of visual upgrades also includes a carbon diffuser while at the interior the car has received a painted center console, a sports steering wheel wrapped in alcantara, Valencia Orange interior trim, an aluminium gear knob and handbrake handle, and an aluminium cover for the i-Drive controller.
At the heart of the AC Schnitzer BMW 1 Series M Coupe there is a power upgrade which enables the engine to deliver 400 HP instead of 340 horses offered by the standard model. The tuners have also equipped the car with a chromed, twin sports rear silencer, a set of high performance brakes (6-piston fixed callipers at the front and 4 at the back) and a height adjustable racing suspension for ‘safe cornering’.
