The latest creation in the German tuning sector comes from ABT with their ABT VW Golf VI GTI. Besides receiving a new appearance the ABT VW Golf VI GTI is also offered with boosted performance. In fact the 2.0-litre TSI unit found in the standard Volkswagen VI GTI that developed 210 hp (154 kW) has been optimized and is now able to output 260 hp (191 kW). There is also a second choice for the ABT VW Golf VI GTI that can spit out 300 hp (221 kW) when the engine is fitted with a new turbocharger.
The power increase is accommodated by a set of ABT suspension springs that position the car with 30 millimeters closer to the asphalt plus 345 millimeter brakes discs.
A wide range of exterior mods are visible on the ABT VW Golf VI GTI that include a new front grille and spoiler, side moldings, a rear spoiler attachment and rear bumper plus a new exhaust with a 4-pipe rear silencer.
The ABT VW Golf VI GTI optics feature daytime running lights and the overall aspect is completed by the 18 inch custom design wheels with an optional 19 inch also available.
