ABT is introducing its new AS4 tuning program for the latest generation Audi A4.
Hans-Jurgen Abt, the company’s founder said "The A4 is an important car for us, too. It always re-defines the premium standard for medium-sized cars," "Our AS4 is definitely state-of-the-art. It combines sportiness and assertiveness".
But what exactly does the AS4 program mean in terms of performance figures ? Well ABT has address the 2.0- and 3.0-litre TFSI engines which produce 211 HP / 155 kW and 333 HP /245 kW as standard, as well as the 3.0-litre TDI plant rated at 245 HP / 180 kW in the stock version.
Each of these engines are now more powerful, with the above specified figures raised to 275 HP and 435 HP on the TFSI petrols and to 282 HP on the diesel.
But that is not all, as ABT can also equip the 2012 Audi A4 with an aero kit comprising from sportier looking spoilers, new side sills, fender inserts and a new diffuser, as well as with a sports exhaust system and light alloy wheels ranging from 19 to 20 inches in size, wrapped in performance tires.
