Toyota is working on a new generation Land Cruiser. The official unveiling will take place later this year, while the deliveries will start in 2024 as a 2025 MY.
Until than, the Japanese car manufacturer has decided to come up with a new teaser picture of the new generation Land Cruiser.
The silhouette of the car is as rugged as you’ll imagine, and the front part will feature some design details inspired by the old FJ62.
There are no technical details, but we do know that the car will be built on the same platform as the Lexus GX, a car which was unveiled a few weeks ago. The posh SUV is available with a twin-turbo 3.4 liter V6 which can deliver 349 horsepower and an impressive 479 lb-ft of torque, with full-time four-wheel drive, a Torsen center differential, and a selectable low range for rock-crawling.
