The mirrors are named Zercado and were developed by designer Bartosz Ambrożkiewicz. He suffered a nasty accident and he said that the incident could be avoided if he had better special awareness and wider rear vision.
Bartosz Ambrożkiewicz worked with a small team and according to him, the mirrors are using a smartphone or miniature sensors placed in a jacket to detect the rider’s body position and adjust accordingly.
As a result, the Zercado mirrors will be able to eliminate blind spots and to improve rearward vision. More than that, the mirrors have incorporate lights to coordinate with the bike’s turn signals.
