The Italian automaker announced it has produced the 500000th Fiat 500 at the company’s plant in Tychy, Poland.
The 500000th Fiat 500 rolled of the assembly line last week, and the car had a Funk White body finish with a 69 HP
1.2 engine under the bonnet and featured the Start&Stop system.
The Fiat 500 is currently being sold in 83 different markets worldwide, from Italy to Brazil and South Africa to Japan, and this 500000th unit milestone was achieved after only 21 months sits its launch.
During these 21 months the Fiat 500 received 40 international awards and the car has been rated with 5 stars by EuroNCAP.
The Fiat 500 model range comes in saloon and Cabrio body styles, with 6 equipment levels (Pop, Lounge,
Sport, Rock, by Diesel and PUR-O2) and motorisation options include 2 petrol engine (a 69 HP 1.2 and a
100 HP 1.4) and 2 turbo-diesel engines (a 75 HP 1.3 Multijet and a 95
HP 1.3 Multijet II).
