Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the all-new EQE SUV. Basically, this is the SUV version of the EQE sedan, the electric alter ego of the current E-Class. As a result, the EQE SUV is an alter ego of the GLE model.

Just like any other new electric from Mercedes, the EQE SUV uses the Eva2 platform, which means a big battery (90,6 kWh) and some special electric motors.

The SUV will be offered in five versions. The entry one is called EQE 350+ SUV and has one electric motor with 292 horsepower. The next one is EQE 350 4Matic SUV, which has two electric motors – one for each axle – which can deliver also 292 HP, but 564 pound-feet of torque (compared to 417 pound-feed in the entry version). The last “civilian” EQE SUV is called EQE 500 4Matic SUV and the electric motors can deliver 536 horsepower and 633 lb-ft.
