Lexus line-up will soon start to grow. After the announcement of the TX, the Japanese car manufacturer has pull out another new model. It is called LBX and it will be unveiled on June 5th.

Basically, this is will Lexus’s smallest car: it will be based on the Toyota Yaris Cross, which means that Lexus will compete in the B SUV segment. Honestly, it won’t be the first one, since BMW has the X2 and Audi the Q2.

Since the new LBX will be a posh version of the Yaris Cross, this means that the model will use the TNGA-B platform. As a result, the engines will be borrowed from Toyota. Now, the Japanese small crossover comes with hybrid powertrains, but there are also some AWD versions. Which are not so common in the B segment.
