Ford will continue the Mustang story, and a 2024 MY variant will soon reach the dealers. But the US car manufacturer is also working on a racing variant of the car: the new Mustang GT3.

In order to show us that every thing is on track, Ford has published a teaser picture of the upcoming Mustang GT3. The only thing you can see is a massive rear wing covered in a cloud of tire smoke.

An official debut of the car is scheduled for March which corresponds to the same month as the Super Sebring IMSA/WEC in Florida. The event will took place in March 11 and 12 and it is possibily to see the new Mustang GT3 at the Sebring track.

According to Ford, the new GT3 car will make its racing debut in 2024 at Daytona, and it will also go to 24 Hours of Le Mans – for the first time in around 30 years.
