BMW has officially unveiled the 2024 X5 and X6 M Competition. Based on the refreshed 2024 X5 and X6 which were unveiled in early February, the M Competition are coming with some slightly modifications compared to the previous versions.
Both cars will use the 4.48 liter V8 engine but this time it comes with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. An electric motor with 12 HP and 199 Nm integrates into the transmission. However, the facelifted models have the same total output: 617 HP and 750 Nm.
BMW claims that the hybrid assistance will offer better performance from standing still and better efficiency.
The new performance SUVs will have a public debut at the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance. In the US, the X5 M Competition will start at $123,295 after the $995 destination fee, and the X6 M Competition goes for $128,195.
