Toyota has unveiled the all-new Prius. In Europe, the new generation will be available only as a plug-in hybrid variant. And this is an odd decision, judging by the fact that the hybrid was a really good option in the Old Continent.

The new 2023 Toyota Prius in the EU spec comes with a 2.0 liter petrol unit and an electric motor with 136 horsepower. In total, the system output is rated at 220 horsepower.

The new model comes with a 13.6 kWh battery pack (which is larger compared to the old one) and can offer an all-electric range or 94 kilometers, which is 50% greater compared to the old generation.

The new Prius plug-in hybrid will have an optional solar roof panel and a modern interior based on the current one find in Corolla.
