Porsche has a special relationship with the US market. As a result, the German manufacturer has decided to show us a special model. It is called Porsche 911 GT3 RS Tribute To Carrera RS, and as the name suggests, this new car will evoke the old Carrera RS 2.7.

This exclusive car will make its first public appereance at the 12 Hours of Sebring from March 15 to 18.

“The package pays tribute to the 911 Carrera RS 2.7, an absolute driver’s car and an icon,” said Porsche Cars North America President and CEO Kjell Gruner.

On the outside there are some body parts painted in Python Green, a standard Weissech package, special wheels and a massive rear wing with the endplates featuring the American flag.
