Subaru is working on a new generation of the WRX. And it will be completely new, not just a remake. In order to promote the upcoming launch, Subaru has published a teaser picture of the upcoming performance model.
We don’t know any details about the new Subaru WRX, but we can guess a few things. So, on the outside, you’ll get a completely revised exterior, while inside the cabin you’ll get all the new and modern technologies developed by Subaru in recent years.
Under the hood, the 2022 Subaru WRX will come with the same 2.4-liter boxer engine. It is currently used on the Ascent, Legacy, and Outback. On these models, the engine delivers 260 horsepower and a 376 Nm peak of torque.
On the Subaru WRX, we can say that the engine will come with even more power. The official unveiling of the new WRX will take place on August 19, at the New York Auto Show.
