Mazda Australia has published the first pictures and details of the all-new 2021 Mazda BT-50 pick-up truck. The third generation of the Japanese model will be available in other countries but we don’t have a complete list now.

On the design side, the new Mazda BT-50 comes with the same Kodo design that we have already seen on rest of Mazda’s cars.

An interesting fact is that the new BT-50 is based on Isuzu internal. More exactly, the car has the Isuzu D-Max platforma and also the engine.

For the Australian market, the Japanese car manufacturer will offer a 3.0 liter diesel engine with 190 horsepower at 3.600 rpm and 450 Nm peak of torque between 1.600 and 2.600 rpm. The pickup truck will have a maximum payload of 1.065 kilograms and a towing capacity of 3.5 tones.
