BMW has finally published the first pictures and official details of the all-new M3 and M4 Coupe models. On the design side, you will notice that both cars will be offered with the 4 Series grille, which is unusual for a car manufacturer to do that.

But we’ll take it for granted and we’ll say that in the M clothes, that massive grille doesn’t look that bad. On the exterior, you will also see new air intakes, a new hood, new side skirts and also an improved air diffuser. Also, at the back, you will see the four exhaust pipes, a new wing and also two winglets on the roof.

For the first time, BMW will offer different wheel sizes for the front and rear: 19 inches for the front and 20 inches for the rear.  If you go for the Competition variant, you will get 20 and 21 inches.

Speaking of Competition, BMW will offer the new M3 and M4 Coupe in two different variants.

The standard variant uses a 3.0 liter engine which can deliver 480 horsepower and 550 Nm peak of torque, while the Competition variants will deliver 510 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque.

The base variant will be a RWD and will be matted to a six speed manual transmission with a special shifting programme, while the Competition variant will use an eight speed Steptronic Sport transmission with Drivelogic. Later in 2021, BMW will also come with a Competition variant with an M xDrive all-wheel drive system.
