Volkswagen of America has officially unveiled the 2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack. The model will be showcased during the 2016 New York Auto Show, the event which will kick off on March 23rd. 

The new 2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack is set to go on sale this fall and comes with one inch more of ground clearance and with a more rugged body. There are also new plastic cladding and redesigned bumpers in order to be different from the standard model. The 2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack will also feature new wheel, special silver accents and unique mirror caps.

Inside the cabin, the 2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack features leather surfaces, ambient lighting, aluminum pedal covers and the 6.5-inch capacitive color touchscreen for the infotainment system. On the option list you can find the 6.5-inch capacitive color touchscreen for the infotainment system.

Under the hood of the 2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack US Spec will be the 1.8 liter petrol unit rated at 170 horsepower and 199 pound-feet of torque. The unit will be matted to a dual-clutch six-speed automatic transmission but you will be also able to choose a six speed manual transmission as well. 

Regardless of gearbox choice, the 2017 Volkswagen Golf Alltrack US Spec has a standard 4MOTION system with fifth-gen Haldex coupling.
