Toyota has officially unveiled the 2017 Toyota GT86 facelift. The model will be showcased during the 2016 New York Motor Show, the event which will kick off on March 23rd.
The 2017 Toyota GT86 facelift has a new front face with bigger air intakes, modified headlights and new bumpers. The Japanese designers have also revised the fog light housings and the turn indicators. The rear end of the car has a new bumper and an interesting air diffuser.
Inside the cabin, the 2017 Toyota GT86 facelift will feature a revised steering wheel, a modified instrument panel and lots of Alcantara accessories.
Under the skin, the Japanese engineers have revised the suspension by implementing updated shock absorbers and spring rates. As a result, the 2017 Toyota GT86 facelift will be sportier than the current model.
Under the hood will be the same 2.0 liter naturally-aspirated engine which will deliver 205 horsepower and 156 pound-feet of torque. The US version also comes with tweaked gear ratios for the six-speed manual gearbox.
