Land Rover has decided to apply the downsizing even to the mighty Range Rover. As a result, the 2017 version of the British model will be offered with a four-cylinder 2.0-liter turbodiesel engine from the Ingenium family. The SD4 motor has 240 horsepower and 500 Nm peak of torque and can run from stand still to 60 mph in just 8 seconds. This is 1.2 seconds slower than the previous SDV6 entry-level.
In the United Kingdom the RR Sport SD4 will have a price tag of £59,700.
Also the 2017 Range Rover will come with the supercharged 3.0-liter V6 gasoline engine that can deliver 340 horsepower and 450 Nm peak of torque. This version can run from stand still to 60 mph in 7.1 seconds, while the top speed is clocked at 130 mph. In the HSE Dynamic trim this version will have a price tag of £64,400.
The new updates are also coming with a 10-inch touchscreen display with InControl Touch Pro. The model also receives some safety and assistance systems like Low Traction Launch, Advanced Tow Assist, Blind Spot Assist, Autonomous Emergency Braking, and Intelligent Speed Limiter.
