Nissan is launching the NV Cargo van and Passenger van in the US. The updated 2017 version is now available to order in all Nissan dealers, more exactly in 440 Nissan Commercial Vehicle dealers nationwide.

Models equipped with the 4.0-liter V6 engine are available now, while V8-equipped models will go on sale in February 2017. The NV Cargo starting price of $27,7303 is the lowest in the full-size van segment.

For 2017, a new 5.6-liter Endurance V8 gasoline engine, assembled in Decherd, Tennessee, replaces the previous 317-horsepower V8, while a new heavy-duty 7-speed automatic transmission replaces the previous 5-speed automatic. For use in the NV Cargo and NV Passenger, the Endurance V8 is rated at 375 horsepower and 387 lb-ft of torque.

Despite the increase in horsepower, the new powertrain also delivers an estimated eight percent increase in fuel economy versus the previous powertrain.

Also available with NV 1500 and NV2500 models, as in previous years, is a fuel-efficient 4.0-liter V6 engine rated at 261 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque.

The NV Cargo is available as a High Roof model with rugged body-on-frame construction. Nissan NV Cargo is available in three models: NV1500, NV2500 HD and NV3500 HD, and in two roof configurations – Standard Roof and High Roof.

The 4-row/12-passenger Nissan NV3500 HD Passenger Van is offered for both personal and fleet use. It features flexible seating configurations, along with roof-mounted curtain supplemental air bags for side-impact and rollover head protection for all outboard passengers, and standard headrests and integrated seat belts for all rear seating positions.
