Chevrolet Colorado is not a bad car and this model should be on your short list if you are going to buy a pick-up truck. Recently, the US-based car manufacturer has added two big upgrades for the 2017 model year.

The 2017 Chevrolet Colorado will be offered with a more powerful V6 engine and it will be coupled to an eight-speed automatic transmission

The V6 engine has 3.6 liter and can deliver 308 horsepower and 373 Nm peak of torque. The current motor has 305 HP and 365 Nm peak of torque. The improvements have been made by modifying the variable valve timing on the intake and exhaust sides, by retuning the direct-injection setup and more.

The eight speed automatic transmission should help you to achieve better performance and better fuel consumption.

“Drivers will immediately notice that it pulls harder when accelerating from a stop or passing on the highway; it is more confident pulling a trailer up a steep grade and it is more refined cruising at a constant highway speed”, said Stan Ludlow, Colorado chief engineer.

The 2017 Chevrolet Colorado will arrive at dealers in the fourth quarter.
