Bentley has officially unveiled the 2017 Bentley Mulsanne facelift. The new British model will be showcased during the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, the event which will kick off on March 3rd.
More than that, the British car manufacturer is adding to the lineup the Extended Wheelbase version.
On the exterior, the 2017 Bentley Mulsanne facelift features a modern appearance with a new grille and special stainless steel. Also we have seen redesigned rounded headlights and some chrome finishes. In addition there are new B-shaped vents on the front fenders. The similar B theme has been applied to taillights.
Inside the cabin, the 2017 Bentley Mulsanne facelift can be chosen with 24 shades of leather, a wide variety of stitching options and 13 veneers. More than that you can find an eight-inch touchscreen, an updated infotainment system that features a 60 GB SSD. The new multimedia system has Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. Last, but not least is a massive 2,200-watt sound system packing 20 speakers.
If you are going to choose the Mulsanne Speed you will get a recalibrated gearbox, and an improved steering system. More than that, the suspension has been modified.
Under the hood of the 2017 Bentley Mulsanne facelift is the same V8 biturbo 6.75 liter engine rated at 505 horsepower (377 kilowatts) and 752 pound-feet (1,020 newton meters) of torque. The Mulsanne Speed will have 530 hp (395 kW) and 811 lb-ft (1,100 Nm). In both cases, the unit will be matted to an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission sending power to the rear axle.
