Renault has officially unveiled the 2016 Talisman Estate, the model that will be showcased during the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. On the outside there is nothing surprising, the design of the new model is closely to the sedan version.
According to Renault, the 2016 Talisman Estate has the same exterior dimensions as the sedan but it comes with a 572 liter load space and a maximum load length of 1.116 mm. If you decide to fold down the rear seats, the volume increases to 1.700 liter, while the maximum load length goes up to 2.010 millimeters.
As you can imagine, most of the Talisman’s comfort features will be available in the break too. We are talking about electric front seats with massage function, heating and cooling function.
Under the hood, the 2016 Renault Talisman Estate will come with the TCe 150 and TCe 200 turbo petrol units that are matted to a seven speed dual clutch transmission. There are also a dCi 11 and a dCi 130 unit that can be linked to a 6-speed manual or the 7-speed dual-clutch. The flagship diesel unit is the dCi 160 with twin-turbo technology and it can be matted only with the 6-speed dual-clutch.
