Porsche has officially unveiled the 2016 911 Carrera 4, Carrera 4S, Targa 4 and Targa 4S. Based on the facelifted 911, all the models are featuring a familiar design.
You can distinguish the 4WD version because they are featuring 44 mm wider wheel arches and a new rear light strip that was developed in order to offer a "consciously three-dimensional design."
Inside the cabin you will find the new infotainment system that works via a 7 inch touchscreen that can also recognize gestures.
Under the hood of the 2016 911 Carrera 4, Carrera 4S, Targa 4 and Targa 4S is a twin-turbo 3.0 liter six-cylinder engine. In the S version it delivers 420 horsepower and 500 Nm peak of torque while in the regular variants it offers 370 horsepower and 450 Nm peak of torque.
Equipped with the PDK transmission and the Sport Chrono, the German model is able to run from stand still to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds (911 Carrera 4S).
Other notable changes are the modified PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) and the rear-axle direction system.
