Mitsubishi has officially unveiled the 2016 Pajero Sport in Thailand. The mid-size SUV features the company’s latest "Dynamic Shield" front fascia, new LED DRLs, modified fog lights and slender headlights. At the back we have vertical taillights that were inspired by those seen in the GR-HEV concept, the prototype that was revealed at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
Inside the cabin, there are lots of elements carried over from the L200 model. We see some comfy seats, sliver trim and a decent sized display.
Under the hood, the 2016 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport comes with a 2.4 liter turbodiesel engine. For now we don’t know the performance figures, but in the L200 the unit delivers 154 PS (113 kW) & 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) or 181 PS (133 kW) & 430 Nm (317 lb-ft).
According to Mitsubishi the sales will debut this fall in Thailand and shortly after that it will be available in Australia, the ASEAN countries, Middle East, Africa, Latin America and Russia, for a total of more than 90 countries.
