Known in Europe as the Mitsubishi ASX and also sold in the US as the Outlander Sport, the smallest SUV in Mitsubishi range suffered a complete makeover during this year Los Angeles Motor Show. The car features now a newly redesigned exterior front fascia/grille.
The 2016 Outlander Sport is equipped with new power folding side mirrors with LED turn indicators, wheel lip moldings, auto-dimming rearview mirror with Homelink and a new 18-inch alloy wheel design. Also new to the vehicle this year are three new exterior colors: Cool Silver, Diamond White Pearl and Quartz Brown.
The Outlander Sport further develops its interior with a redesigned steering wheel, new 6.1 inch Display Audio, high quality seat fabrics and a new light gray interior option.
The 2016 model-year has a starting price of $19,595 and is supported by fully transferable 5-year/60,000 mile new vehicle limited warranty.
The Outlander Sport has a range of safety features that include an advanced seven air bag SRS system and Mitsubishi Motors’ patented Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution (RISE) safety cell body construction.
