The 2016 Mercedes-Benz E-Class was one of the most important premiere of the 2016 Detroit Auto Show. According to the Mercedes-Benz Passion Blog the new model will have a price tag of $49,436 (€45,303) for the E 200 variant. This one comes with the 2.0 liter petrol unit which was equipped with the new 9G-TRONIC automatic gearbox.
On the diesel side, the E 220d also with the new 9G-TRONIC will carry a starting price tag of $51,424 (€47,124). In June the E 350d will join the club at $60,675 (€55,602).
According to the same blog, the first Mercedes-AMG model with 402 horsepower will arrive in June and will carry the E 43 AMG name. One of the most impressive version will be the E 350e which features a plug-in hybrid powertrain. Unfortunately we don’t know when it will be available.
