A few days ago, Mercedes-AMG has announced a new model. The GT R. As you have found out, this one will come as an alternative for those who want more power and sportiness but are not going to buy the upcoming Black Series.

Today, Mercedes-AMG has published new info about the GT R. The car will come with the same V8 4.0 liter twin-turbo engine. This time is will deliver 585 horsepower, with 75 more than the GT S version. More than that, the torque will be clocked at 700 Nm with 50 Nm peak of torque more than the GT S.

As a result, the 2016 Mercedes-AMG GT R will be able to run from stand still to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds and will have a top speed of 197.6 mph.

More than that, the new AMG GT R will be available with a special color named AMG Green Hell Magno.
