Infiniti has officially unveiled the 2016 Infiniti QX30 at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show. The new Japanese crossover is essentially a rebadged version of the Mercedes-Benz GLA but features a more appealing exterior.
Inside the cabin, the cabin closely mirrors to the Q30 hatchback, the model that was unveiled at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. For now we don’t know much technical specs of the Infiniti QX30 but the Japanese car manufacturer has assured us that the model will have an intelligent all-wheel drive system and a dual clutch transmission.
As we previously said, we don’t know any technical details but we think it’s pretty sure to assume that under the bonnet of the Infiniti QX30 will be the same engines as those seen under the Q30 hood. We are talking about a 1.6 liter unit with 122 horsepower/156 horsepower or a bigger 2.0 liter with 211 HP. On the diesel side, customers might find a 1.5 liter with 109 horsepower or a 2.2 liter rated at 170 horsepower.
The 2016 Infiniti QX30 is slated to go on sale in the middle of 2016.
