The third generation Honda Jazz also known as Fit has finally arrived in Europe after the debut at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The B-segment hatchback is 95 mm longer than the second generation and features a 30 mm longer wheelbase. As a result, the Honda Jazz will offer more space for passengers and luggage.
The standard boot volume is of 354 liters and it can go up to 1.314 liters with the rear seats folded. Space and versatility are further enhanced thanks to innovative solutions such as the center-mounted fuel tank and the Magic Seats system.
At the launch, the new Honda Jazz will come with a 1.3 liter i-VTEC petrol unit rated at 102 horsepower at 6.000 rpm and 123 Nm peak of torque at 5.000 rpm. The unit will be mated to a new six speed manual gearbox or to an optional CVT transmission. The engine is Euro 6 compliant and can return 4.1 liters per 100 kilometers and 106 grams of CO2 per kilometer. The not to 100 km/h is done in 11.2 seconds, while the top speed is clocked at 190 km/h.
Inside the cabin, the new 2016 Honda Jazz will come with air conditioning and a 5 inch LCD audio display as standard. If you decided to spend more money, Honda can offer the 7 inch Connect infotainment touchscreen and steering wheel-mounted audio controls.
