Cadillac has officially unveiled the all-new 2016 CTS-V at the North American International Auto Show. The new US-based product was designed to compete against the BMW M5 and Mercedes E63 AMG and features a more aggressive front fascia with larger air intakes.

Exterior

In addition, we see a front splitter, a ventilated carbon fiber hood and special 19-inch alloy wheel wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. At the back is a new air diffuser and a four tailpipe exhaust system.

If this is not enough for your eyes, you can pick the Carbon Fiber package that adds more aggressive accessories.

Interior

Inside the cabin, the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V has semi-aniline leather, carbon fiber accessories and the CUE infotainment system.

Drivetrain

Under the hood, the new Cadillac CTS-V comes with a supercharged V8 6.2 liter engine rated at 640 horsepower and 855 Nm peak of torque. The unit is matted to an eight-speed automatic transmission. As a result, the car can run from stand still to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.7 seconds while the top speed is clocked at 200 mph (322 km/h).
