BMW has officially unveiled the 2016 BMW M2 Coupe. Set to go on sale in the US in the spring of 2016, the new performance model comes with a sporty front bumper, a revised grille, new front fenders and widened wheel arches.
More than that we see a new rear bumper, an air diffuser and new 19-inch forged aluminum wheels with bespoke Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.
Inside the cabin, the 2016 BMW M2 Coupe features Dakota leather sport seats, some M logos, a sport steering wheel, aluminum pedals and that special M gear leaver.
Under the hood of the 2016 BMW M2 Coupe is a 3.0 liter six cylinder engine rated at 370 horsepower and 465 Nm peak of torque (500 Nm with overboost). In standard, the German model is available with a six speed manual transmission, but on the option list you will find the mighty M DCT.
When equipped with the dual clutch transmission, the car can run from stand still to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds. The top speed is limited to 250 km/h or 270 km/h with M Drivers Pack. More than that, the car has an Active M Differential, M suspensions and the M Dynamic Mode.
