Audi has officially unveiled the 2016 Audi TT RS Coupe and Roadster during the 2016 Beijing Motor Show. Under the hood of the new German models is a revised 2.5 liter TFSI engine rated at 400 horsepower and 480 Nm peak of torque available between 1.700 and 5.850 Nm peak of torque.
The 2.5 engine is matted to a seven speed S-Tronic automatic transmission and to a quattro all-wheel drive system. As a result, the new 2016 Audi TT RS Coupe can run from stand still to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, while the top speed is clocked at 250 km/h.
The 2016 Audi TT RS Roadster can sprint from stand still to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, and the top speed is also electronically limited to 250 km/h. If you want more, the Germans can update the top speed to 280 km/h.
The new Audi TT RS sits 0.03 inches lower to the ground than the base car and tips the scale at 3,174 pounds. The car also comes with special 19 or 20 inch wheels and with special OLED taillights.
Audi will officially launch the 2016 Audi TT RS Coupe and Roadster and will be priced from 66,400 euros for the Coupe and 69,200 euros for the Roadster.
