Audi will showcase during the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show the brand new 2016 Audi A8 Security. We are talking about an upgraded version of the German model that managed to be upgraded to a VR9 ballistic protection.
As a result, the 2016 Audi A8 Security has become the most secure Audi ever made. In order to achieve this certification, the car features very resistant materials in the safety cell, unique aluminum wheels, aramid fabric and hot-formed steel armor.
In standard, the 2016 Audi A8 Security comes with an armored communication box that was mounted in the truck, an intercom and a selective door. It you have more money to spent, Audi will equip the car with an optional emergency exit system, fire extinguisher and an emergency fresh air system.
The new 2016 Audi A8 Security is available with two different engines. The first one is the V8 4.0 liter TFSI unit with 435 horsepower and 600 Nm peak of torque while the second engine is a W12 FSI with 500 HP and 625 Nm of torque.
