Acura ILX has failed to do its Civic duty and this is why Acura has announced plans to introduce a brand-new model at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
For now we don’t have many details but the confirmed 2016 ILX will come with a comprehensive update that includes a potent new powertrain, more forceful, sporty exterior styling and substantially upgraded interior design. In addition, the Acura officials have also said that we can expect high-value comfort, convenience and safety features.
For now this is pretty vague but John Mendel, executive vice-president at American Honda has previously called that the actual ILX entry-level version equipped with the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine rated at 150 horsepower and 190 Nm peak of torque is underpowered. As a result, we can expect a more potent new powertrain with more power than its predecessor.
The 2016 Acura ILX will be officially revealed on November 20th, so stay with us for more details.
