Skoda continues its teasing campaign for the next generation Superb, scheduled to make its public debut during 2015 Geneva Motor Show. Until then, the car is anticipated through a series of teasers, the most recent one unveiling the back of the sedan.
The first photos and info will be unveiled in February, in Prague, during a special event held in the home country.
The car will introduce a revolutionary design language with expressive shapes from the Skoda VisionC, large wheels, gently rearward sloping roof line, strikingly contoured surfaces, sculptural shapes, purist precision and elegant lines as if made from one piece.
The new edition brings the Skoda Superb onto the higher level of the automotive mid-class segment. The third generation is expected to get new customer groups interested in the brand and model.
According to the Czech car manufacturer, the new Superb will be 75 kilograms (165 pounds) lighter than the old one and will be based on the MQB platform. The same platform is used by the Volkswagen Passat B8 and this means we will have a longer Skoda Superb.
