Nissan has officially unveiled today the all-new Navara pick-up truck. On the exterior, the new 2015 Nissan Navara pick-up model is featuring a more refined look with that special V-motion front grille dominating the car. Furthermore, we see LED daytime running lights and turn signals incorporated in the door mirrors. The 2015 Nissan Navara will be available with 2 new exterior colors: Savannah Yellow and The Earth Bronze.
“Since we built our first pickup in 1933, over 14 million customers around the globe have come to depend on a Nissan pickup to transport their families, workmates and cargo, sometimes in the toughest of circumstances", explained Andy Palmer, Nissan’s Chief Planning Officer.
Inside the cabin, the 2015 Nissan Navara is featuring better materials with aluminum and chrome trim. In addition, we see a high-resolution TFT display in the instrument cluster which can provide access to compass, navigation, audio track or fuel indicator.
“Nissan pickups are often the lifeblood of their communities, and they need a broader range of abilities than almost any other vehicle. Engineering a good one isn’t easy, but with the NP300 Navara, we’ve added to our accumulated 80 years of Pickup know-how, more comfort, convenience and SUV-inspired features, in-order to build a great one", said Andy Palmer.
The new 2015 Nissan Navara comes with a reworked chassis along with updated suspensions. According to Nissan, the turning circle has been reduced in order to deliver more maneuverability around the city streets.
Under the hood, the 2015 Nissan Navara will feature a 2.5 liter DOHC diesel engine offered in 2 power versions: 163 horsepower and 403 Nm peak of torque and 190 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. According to Nissan, the new engine is 11 percent more efficient than the old one. Furthermore, the 2015 Nissan Navara will be offered with a 2.5 liter petrol unit which can be paired with a six speed manual gearbox or with a seven speed automatic transmission.
