Mercedes-Benz has officially unveiled the all-new GLE 450 AMG Coupe at the North American International Auto Show. As you may have read, the car was designed to be slotted below the Mercedes-AMG GLE63 S Coupe and comes with a more aggressive body kit than the standard version.
Exterior
On the outside we see new spoilers, aerodynamic mirrors caps, a new air diffuser and 21-inch lightweight alloy wheels. According to Mercedes-Benz, the new GLE 450 AMG Coupe has the Airmatic air suspension with adaptive damping system and an automatic lowering function.
Interior
Inside the cabin, customers of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 AMG Coupe will find Nappa leather, a sport steering wheel, stainless steel pedals and a lot carbon fiber and piano black accessories.
Drivetrain
Under the hood of the Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 AMG Coupe is a twin-turbo V6 3.0 liter engine rated at 367 horsepower and 520 Nm peak of torque. Unfortunately, Mercedes-Benz hasn’t revealed the detailed specifications but they have confirmed that the engine is matted to a nine-speed automatic transmission and a rear-biased 4MATIC system.
