Mercedes-Benz has revealed some pictures and details about the new C63 AMG via its German retail site. On the outside, the German performance saloon features a more aggressive and sporty package with new spoilers, a special rear wing and four exhaust pipes.
According to the German website, the new 2015 Mercedes C63 AMG will be offered with the new 4.0-liter V8 bi-turbo engine and the model will be available in two different versions. The first one will deliver 476 horsepower and 650 Nm peak of torque, while the second one, named S will deliver 510 horsepower and 700 Nm peak of torque. The engine resources are sent to the rear wheels thanks to a seven-speed SPEEDSHIFT transmission. Under these conditions, the C63 AMG will run from nought to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.2 seconds, while the C63 AMG S will do the same acceleration in 4.1 seconds.
On the same website we also found some details about the Edition 1. According to those information this version will be available only with the C63 AMG S model. It will come with a special paint, new wheels, a front lip spoiler and with the Night Package. Inside the cabin, buyers will find a steering wheel wrapped in Alcantara a 12 o’clock painted in red and the AMG Performance seats.
