Mercedes continues to promote its new AMG GT supercar with a new movie, showing the car in action.
The short video is filmed on the famous Austin Circuit of the Americas, a perfect place for drifts and going sideways. The car in action is a Mercedes AMG GT, painted in yellow, almost the same color as Mercedes Black Series models.
The 2015 Mercedes AMG GT comes with the M178 engine. We are talking about a twin-turbo 4.0 liter V8 engine which can deliver 510 horsepower at 6,250 rpm and 650 Nm peak of torque between 1,750 and 4,750 rpm. The new engine is Euro 6 compliant and has a dry weight of 209 kilograms.
Circuit of the Americas is located in Austin, Texas and is the first track in the states purpose built for Formula One. It hosted Formula One Grand Prix in 2012 and 2013 as well as a number of other major championships.
