Hyundai has published today more pictures and details about the second generation i20. Furthermore, we get to see the interior of the compact hatchback. 

According to Hyundai, the new i20 features a two-tone interior made from soft-touch materials that ensure the Korean car the best interior quality in the segment. More than that, they have used the so-called Thermal Plastic Olefin (TPO) material that is "highly durable".

The 2015 Hyundai i20 is coming with automatic folding door mirrors, front and rear parking sensors and an integrated 7 inch display with sat-nav and USB and Bluetooth connectivity. 

“The dash and the door materials are the first a potential customer touches after the steering wheel, so these need to be good quality and, most importantly, soft”, said Christian Loer, head of product management and pricing at Hyundai Motor Europe.

At the launch, in Europe, the 2015 Hyundai i20 will feature four different engines. The petrol units are a 1.25 liter in versions of 75 and 84 horsepower which can be matted to a 5 speed manual gearbox and a range-topping version of 1.4 liter with 100 horsepower. The latter one will be available with a six speed manual gearbox or with a 4 speed automatic transmission.

Diesel engine fans will get a 1.1 liter with 75 horsepower or a 1.4 liter with 90 horsepower. Both units will be mated to a 6 speed manual gearbox.
