Cadillac wants to rival the BMW M3 and Mercedes C63 AMG with their new ATS-V Sedan. This is why the US manufacturer is already testing the car in extreme conditions on Nurburgring Nordschleife.
A recent spy movie shows the car reving on the Green Heel, preparing for the commercial battle with the german sedans. According to inside reports, the ATS-V will use a newly developed 3.0 liter twin-turbo V6, capable of delivering 500 bhp.
This is how Cadillac wants to respond to competition: more horsepower, not so much effort in reducing weight. Public debut of the Cadillac ATS-V is expected during this year NAIAS Detroit Auto Show.
