A series of official pictures of the second generation BMW X6 have hit the web ahead of an expected full reveal. As you can see in the picture gallery below, the upcoming 2015 BMW X6 features most of its styling cues from the 2014 X5.
The upcoming German Sport Activity Coupe comes with an evolutionary design which suits the model well, especially at the back where the rear end of the car doesn’t look anymore awkward.
Under the bonnet, we expect to see the same engine lineup of the X5 model. According to rumors, the 2015 BMW X6 will come with an inline-six 3.0 liter TwinPower Turbo engine rated at 306 horsepower and a 4.4 liter V8 unit with 450 horsepower.
According to the same sources, the car will also come with a six-cylinder tri-turbo 3.0 liter engine rated at 381 horsepower. The range-topping version will be the X6 M which will feature the twin-turbo 4.4 liter V8 engine.
