Bentley has unveiled today the brand-new 2015 Mulsanne Speed. The new British model will deliver the fastest ultra-luxury driving experience in the world. According to the press release, the new Mulsanne Speed will be available in four exterior colors: Specter, Candy Red, Camel and Marlin.
Furthermore, the car comes with dark tint finish on the radiator grille, bumper grilles and wing vents. In addition, the British designers have added new 21-inch rims.
"The new Mulsanne Speed is the car that defines Bentley, as a flagship for driving luxury performance”. The vehicle “is distinguished, calm and relaxing”, but “always with a connection to the road and relentless dynamic performance on demand", said Bentley chairman and chief executive Wolfgang Durheimer.
Inside the cockpit, the 2015 Bentley Mulsanne comes with new trims, colors and veneers. In addition we see diamond quilting for seats and door panels.
Under the bonnet of the 2015 Bentley Mulsanne Speed is a 6.75 liter V8 engine which can deliver 537 HP and 1.100 Nm of torque. Under these conditions, the car can run from not to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds and the top speed is clocked at 305 km/h.
According to Bentley, the engine comes with a cylinder deactivation system which allows the unit to run as a V4 engine. As a result, the Mulsanne Speed is able to deliver 342 grams of CO2 per kilometer, compared to the standard 393 g/km. The engine resources are sent to the ground via an eight speed automatic gearbox with an S mode for a better response.
Bentley has also included a more driver-focused Sport driving mode that “stiffens the all-round air suspension for improved body control and adjusts the steering dynamics for greater feedback and accuracy”.
