Audi has released the first official teaser with the upcoming 2015 Audi e-tron quattro concept. The prototype will be officially showcased during the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, the event which will kick off on September 15.
As you may have read, the 2015 Audi e-tron quattro concept will preview the Q6 crossover coupe, the first full-electric model developed by the German car manufacturer.
On the outside, the 2015 Audi e-tron quattro concept will come with a sporty look that combines the sloped roofline with the rugged appearance of the wheel arches and side skirts. In addition, we see futuristic headlights and OLED taillights.
More than that, Audi says that the e-tron quattro concept will have a drag coefficient of just 0.25, representing the best-in-segment figure. The German concept is based on the second MLB platform and it will be slotted between the Q5 and Q7.
The battery pack was installed between the front and rear axles and it was co-developed with South Korean suppliers LG Chem and Samsung SDI. The power will be offered by three electric motors, one mounted in the front and two at the back.
Inside the cabin, the 2015 Audi e-tron quattro concept will be packed with OLED screens and with no physical buttons.
