With this new world premiere it seems that the German car manufacurer is offering us a good preview of a possible new SUV range.
The main features of the new concept car include the progressive design: the front section with the LED headlights and two removable roof halves. The 2014 Volkswagen T-ROC Concept represetns a three-door crossover coupe which follows a new design line and interior style.
On the exterior, the German prototype has plastic body cladding, bigger wheel arches, LED headlights and daytime running lights and 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in special tires. But the main attractions, as we already mentioned, is the two-piece removable roof that can be stored in the cargo compartment.
On the inside we can find a Blue-Splash Metallic leather upholstery.
Under the hood is a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine matted to a 7 speed twin-clutch DSG transmission and 4MOTION all-wheel drive system with Haldex coupling Under these conditions, the German crossover can sprint from stand still to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds, while the top speed is clocked at 230 km/h.
