Skoda has officially revealed today a new member of the Octavia big family. Named Octavia Combi G-TEC, the new Czech liftback model will run on compressed natural gas (CNG) and it will have the international revealed, in March, at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
Under the hood, the 2014 Skoda Octavia G-TEC will have a four-cylinder, 1.4 liter TSI turbocharged petrol engine which can develop 110 horsepower. As you probably know, this is a bivalent Euro-6 compliant engine and is also featuring a regenerative braking system and start-stop technology.
Using CNG as fuel, the 2014 Skoda Octavia Combi G-TEC can travel for up to 410 kilometers with CO2 emission of just 97 grams per kilometers. When running on petrol, the 2014 Skoda Octavia Combi G-TEC will offer a range of 920 kilometers, while choosing both fuels, the car will come travel for 1.330 kilometers.
