Seat has published today the first official pictures and details with the upcoming Ibiza Cupster Concept. According to the Spanish brand, the new prototype will be officially showcased later this month at the Worthersee festival.
As you already know, Seat is celebrating 30 years of Ibiza and the new concept comes with a raked and short windscreen combined with wraparound side windows. In addition we see Cupra badging, 18 inch alloy wheels and a unique "New Orange" exterior paint.
At the back of the 2014 Seat Ibiza Cupster Concept is a special trunk-mounted spoiler and a central exhaust pipe.
Under the hood, the 2014 Seat Ibiza Cupster Concept features a 1.4 liter TSI petrol engine rated at 180 horsepower and 250 Nm peak of torque. The engine resources are put to the ground via a DSG gearbox.
"The Ibiza has always been the heart of SEAT – a young, dynamic car with an emotional design, a good head for the practical things in life and excellent value for money," says Jürgen Stackmann, President of SEAT S.A. "At Wörthersee, we are celebrating the anniversary of our most successful model with the unique Ibiza CUPSTER, not to mention the exceptionally well-equipped 30 Years edition – and, of course, with a great programme."
