The British car maker Land Rover will introduce at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show the 2014 version for the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport.
According to the Brits, the 2014 Range Rover is coming with the Black Design Pack that includes glossy black accessories on the front grille, mirror caps, door handles and side vents. There is also a new set of 21 or 22 inch alloy wheels. Inside the cabin, the 2014 Range Rover can be fitted with new front and rear spoiler. For the back passengers, the British car manufacturer has prepared a new entertainment system that works on 10.2 inch displays.
Speaking of technology, the 2014 Range Rover will feature Traffic Sign Recognition, Departure Warning and Perpendicular Park / Parking Exit.
Under the bonnet of the 2014 Range Rover Sport the customers will find a new 4.4 liter SDV8 diesel unit that can offer 339 horsepower and 700 Nm peek of torque. The engine resources are managed by an eight speed automatic transmission signed by ZF. In these conditions, the British SUV can sprint from stand still to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds, while the top speed is clocked at 225 km/h when it’s equipped with the Dynamic Package.
For the environmentalists, Land Rover will offer new versions for the Range Rover Hybrid and Range Rover Sport Hybrid. According to the Brits, the hybrid versions will come with a 3.0 liter SDV6 turbodiesel unit and a 47 horsepower electric engine. Overall, the hybrid power train can offer 340 horsepower and 700 Nm peek of torque.
