The German manufacturer has unveiled today the 2014 911 GT America model. According to Porsche, the new car was specially developed to compete in the United Sports Car Racing (USCR) GT Daytona class.

The car features a massive rear wing, a carbon fiber underbody, a roof rescue hatch and a digital dash signed by Cosworth. For better breaking, the German manufacturer has installed a 380 mm vented steel rotors with four and six piston aluminum calipers.

Under the hood it is the 4.0 liter flat six engine that can deliver 470 horsepower. The unit resources are managed by a six speed sequential gear box that can be controlled by a pneumatic paddle shift.

According to Porsche, the new 2014 911 GT America will have a price of 269.000 US Dollars and the deliveries are scheduled to begin in October.
